1. Who we are
Dropliso is a billing, inventory, and store management platform operated for small and medium businesses in India. This policy explains what data we collect when you use Dropliso, why we collect it, and how it is protected.
2. What we collect
We collect account information you provide (business name, GST number, phone number, email), transactional data generated through normal use (invoices, inventory records, customer khata entries), and technical data such as device type and log data needed to keep the service running securely.
3. How we use your data
Your data is used to operate core features: generating GST-compliant invoices, tracking inventory, sending WhatsApp invoice and payment reminders on your behalf, and producing your sales and profit reports. We do not sell your business data or your customers' data to third parties.
4. Data storage and residency
Data is hosted on servers located in India, in line with data-localization expectations under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). Backups are encrypted and retained on a scheduled basis appropriate to your plan.
5. Data sharing
We share data only with service providers necessary to run Dropliso - for example, payment gateways to process transactions, and messaging providers to deliver WhatsApp notifications you configure. These providers are bound by their own confidentiality and data protection obligations.
6. Your rights
You can request an export of your business data at any time in CSV or Excel format. If you close your account, your data is permanently deleted from active systems within a stated retention window, except where we are legally required to retain records for longer (for example, GST or tax-related records).
7. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls so staff only see data relevant to their role, and audit logging for sensitive actions. No system is completely immune to risk, and we continue to invest in security as Dropliso grows.
8. Cookies and tracking
Our marketing website may use basic analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. The Dropliso application itself does not use third-party advertising trackers.
9. Children's data
Dropliso is a business tool intended for use by adults operating a registered business. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Dropliso evolves or as legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated to account owners before they take effect.
